Also present in welcoming Marquez was former Sulu Governor Dr. Sakur “Datu Shabandar” Tan, who joined the acting governor in presenting the Court Administrator the newly-constructed building the provincial government built in Jolo town for the provincial judiciary offices and the National Bureau of Investigation.
The former governor also gave Marquez samples of locally-produced Mangosteen jam.

He then became a regular law clerk of several justices of the Supreme Court until he reached his present position. He was once concurrently the Court Administrator, Spokesperson of the Supreme Court, and Chief of its Public Information Office, and Chief of Staff of the Office of the Chief Justice.
