CEBU – A centralized automated ticketing system will soon be implemented in the Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) which aims to help decongest and control the volume of people there and make the terminal safer for passengers and allow easier access to designated boarding bays.
The
provincial government and the Topline Hi-tech and Synergy Corporation entered
into a contract for the launching of the centralized automated ticketing system.
Gov.
Gwendolyn Garcia and Topline President Eugene Erik Lim signed the
contract recently. Topline will design, supervise, install, operate, and manage
the system at no cost to the provincial government.
The
centralized automated ticketing system is expected to be in full operation by
early next year. (With a report from Cebu Examiner)
