THREE NEW confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) were reported in this province Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 16.
Noel Bueno, provincial health officer, said the new cases are a 32-year-old female from San Narciso, a 55-year-old male from this town and a 56-year-old female from Botolan.
Bueno said the three new patients have no travel history.
“Two of the three patients experienced Covid-19 symptoms while the other one showed no signs of the deadly virus,” he said.
The three were confirmed to have been afflicted by coronavirus based on the results of the tests released on May 3.
Bueno said the patients are presently admitted at the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital (PRRMH) here.
As of Monday afternoon, the number of recoveries from Covid-19 is still five, and death from Covid-19 is one.
On the other hand, suspected cases numbered 211 while 112 are still waiting for the test results. (
