HUNDREDS OF residents and Covid-19 frontline and resort workers continue to receive financial aid from the local government in an effort to help them cope up with the effects of the health crisis.

Mayor Beng Climaco said the local government will continue to assist those hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic from the poor sector to the unemployed or those who lost their jobs as her administration promised to do everything to uplift the welfare of the Zamboangueños.
The mayor, assisted by social
workers and personnel from the City Treasurer’s Office, distributed cash
assistance to the beneficiaries of the local government’s pro-poor programs in
different barangays. “El ayuda na tiempo
de pandemia ta continua como parte del Covid-19 rehabilitation program del gobierno
local,” she said.
Councilors Pinpin Pareja, Al Jihan Edding, El King Omaga and Rep. Jawo Jimenes also accompanied the mayor in the distribution of financial aid to the poor and also to the barangay workers.
Zamboangueños have praised Climaco’s assistance and thanked
her for always putting their welfare on top of her priorities. (Zamboanga Post)
