COTABATO CITY – A grenade attack Tuesday on a funeral parlor has left at least 3 people wounded in the southern Filipino province of North Cotabato, reports said.
It said the explosion at the Collado Funeral Homes wounded Ben Samillano, Jeffrey Onoc and Bernie Cristobal and they were all rushed to hospital.
The motive of the attack was unknown, but it occurred barely four days after a grenade explosion in the town also wounded 5 people.
Security has been tightened in the town following the latest grenade attack. It was not immediately known whether any of the victims or the funeral parlor was target of the attack.
Police were investigating the motive of the attack. (Mindanao Examiner)
