LANAO DEL SUR – Gunmen shot dead a farmer in the town of Lumba-Bayabao
in the southern Philippine province of Lanao del Sur.

The victim, Magandama Dimalapang, was shot several times on June 19 in
his rice field, according to reports which said that at least 10 armed men were
believed involved in the attack.
The killing was reported to the police by a village official in Sabala
Bantayao.
Mayor Mahar Dagalangit confirmed the killing and said “mag-demanda ngayon
ang pamilya ng biktima (at) alam na nila ang (mga) suspect.”
No other information was available. The motive of the murder is still
