ZAMBOANGA CITY – The US Special Operations Task Force donated four isolation tents to the local government as part of Washington’s support to Zamboanga’s pandemic response.

The mayor thanked Washington
for its continued support to the local government in fighting the pandemic.
“Thank you very much US Government for the continuous partnership and support
and assistance for the good of the people of Zamboanga and the entire country.
Vaya con Dios,” she said.
The US government also donated
in May over 100 boxes of personnel protective equipment, masks, goggles,
thermometers and other medical supplies to the Zamboanga City Health Office,
Zamboanga City Medical Center, West Metro Medical Center, Zamboanga Peninsula
Medical Center and Ciudad Medical Center in response to the pandemic.
The donation was handed over
by Major Nathan Golike, commander of the US Special Operations Task Force.
Climaco has praised Washington for the continued support
Zamboanga is receiving through its various programs here and she even highlighted
the strong partnership of the Philippines and the United States.
