Mayor Beng Climaco praised and
thanked the tricycle drivers and their operators for supporting the “Tiene
Cuidao” campaign and handed out tarpaulins during a recent back-to-back program
with the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City and Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. at the
Paseo del Mar.
Honoriza Lavista, president of the
Rotary Club of Zamboanga; and Nilo Barete, who heads the Bounty Agro Ventures
Zamboanga Business Center, joined Climaco in the anti-Covid campaign in an
effort to prevent or minimize transmission of the coronavirus disease in the
community.
Climaco together with Lavista and
Barete also distributed dressed chickens to some 500 tricycle drivers and
operators. The humanitarian project - facilitated
by the Tricycle Adjudication Board - was aimed at helping tricycle
drivers and operators who are severely affected by
the pandemic. (Mindanao Examiner)
