Security officials thanked Tan and the provincial government for the support in construction and renovation of facilities at the camp overlooking the capital town of Jolo.

The project was made possible through the financial assistance extended by Governor Sakur Tan. Among the projects were the huge welcome sign and marker of Rajah Baguinda Shrine, a mini zoo, expanded view deck.

Camp Bud Datu even has its own version of Starbucks Coffee Company called “Stagbucks” and Pati’s Point, the military’s version of Padi’s Point Restaurant and Bar in Antipolo City in Rizal province. And visitors'quarters called The Forest Lodge.

The inauguration was attended by Jolo Mayor Kerkhar Tan and senior military and government officials. (Mindanao Examiner)
