2 teens rescued, 4 nabbed in Pampanga raid

AUTHORITIES RESCUED  two teenage girls and arrested four suspects in a raid at a cyberpornography den in Pampanga.

In a statement Wednesday, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Debold Sinas identified the suspects as Easton Scot Sanderson, an American national, and his Filipino cohorts -- Renelyn Robles, Jann Arielle Mondejar, and Shirley Martinez, who were arrested in an operation by the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) in Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City on Tuesday night.

"The PNP is going after traffickers who prey on women for sexual exploitation. We urge the public to report to us similar illegal activities for immediate police intervention,” Sinas said.

Upon debriefing, the victims revealed that Mondejar recruited them as models and introduced them to Sanderson.

However, Sanderson forced them to have sex with him while Robles and Martinez took the video and recorded the acts on video for uploading on pornographic sites.

Sinas said the ACG investigators are coordinating with agents from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to identify porn sites where the syndicate uploads sex videos, which can be used as added evidence in prosecution.

The suspects will be charged with the violation of Republic Act (RA) 10360 (Anti-Human Trafficking Act) in relation to Section 6 of RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012). (By Christopher Lloyd Caliwan)
