Climaco together with ZCWD General Manager Leonardo Rey Vasquez and ZCWD Chairman of the Board Arnold Atilano, and officials from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and barangay officials led by Chairman Jose Vicente Ramillano held the inauguration in Barangay Quiniput.

The mayor said some 12,000 meters of pipelines were laid to provide potable water supply to Barangays Talon-Talon, Maasin, Patalon, Recodo, Cawit, Mampang and Quiniput.

The program is designed to provide water supply systems for barangays and enhance the capacity of the local governments and water service providers in the planning, implementation, and operation of water supply facilities. It also aims to increase water service for the waterless population by 50% and reduce incidence of water-borne and sanitation related diseases by 20% and to improved access of the poor to sanitation services by at least 10%.
