CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - With the initial allocation of Covid-19 vaccines for frontline healthcare workers in Northern Mindanao, the National Vaccination Operation Center said the inoculation in the region has attained 90.25 percent coverage.
The vaccination rollout was started by the Department of Health (DOH) with the arrival of the 17,400 doses of Sinovac vaccines and 22,000 doses of AstraZeneca. Since the rollout, some 17,780 out of 19,700 eligible healthcare workers had been vaccinated, making the region number one among the country’s 17 regions in terms of vaccination coverage.
Out of the 17,780 healthcare workers inoculated, some 8,689 healthcare workers or 44.08 percent were vaccinated with Sinovac while 9,091 received the AstraZeneca vaccines. (Jaka)
