THE ZAMBOANGA City Government continues with its Covid-19 vaccination program and simulating the various processes for the mass inoculation here.

The City Health Office under Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite led the simulation recently at the covered court in Barangay Santa Maria where Dr. Joshua Brillantes, of the Department of Health, and other officials from the Zamboanga City Medical Center served as observers.
Brillantes lauded the efforts of the local government and the City Health Office, including the local task force Covid headed by Mayor Beng Climaco. “Congrats Mayor Beng, Zamboanga City Covid Vaccination Team and uniformed personnel for a job well done,” he said.
Dr. Al Kunting, of the Zamboanga City Medical Center, and Dr. Maritess Maxino, of the local chapter of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines, Inc. also expressed
commitment and support to the local government's undertakings to ensure the successful implementation of the anti-Covid program.
Climaco commended and thanked Miravite and the City Health Office, including those who participated in the simulation exercise for their dedication and commitment. She said the simulation will surely help address the gaps and challenges in the preparations for the mass vaccination.
Miravite said the simulation aims to determine the preparedness of the local government for the actual vaccination rollout in the coming months. She said a series of simulation exercises will also be held in different health districts.
Members of the local police force also held a simulation on vaccine deployment from the City Health office in Pettit Barracks to the venue of the mock vaccination in Santa Maria. (Zamboanga Post)
