The facility, which cost some P1.4 million, was donated by SM Arise Project with the UAP undertaking the construction, including the rehabilitation of the old barangay hall.
Once the project is completed, the UAP will turn it over to the local government and to the barangay officials, according to Mayor Beng Climaco.
Climaco thanked SM Arise Project and members of the local UAP for undertaking such a benevolent project that will benefit Zamboanga and its people, especially in fighting the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Muchisimas gracias SM Arise Project
and UAP Zamboanga Chapter. We also thank the leadership of Barangay Captain Joel
Esteban and all barangays in helping our government heal the sick and feed the
hungry with God’s grace,” she said. (Zamboanga Post)
