ARCHBISHOP JOSE Cardinal Advincula has appointed three new officials of the Archdiocese of Manila.
In a circular issued on Monday, Fr. Isidro Marinay, archdiocese chancellor, said these are Rev. Fr. Reginald Malicdem, archdiocesan spokesperson; Rev. Fr. Jerome Secillano, minister of the Ministry on Public Affairs; and Rev. Fr. Enrico Martin Adoviso, minister of the Ministry on Socio-Political Advocacy (Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting).
Secillano will replace Rev. Fr. Atilano Fajardo while Adoviso will succeed Rev. Msgr. Hernando Coronel.
The archdiocese also congratulated and expressed gratitude to the new and former officials.
“As we congratulate and promise our support and prayers to the new appointees, we likewise thank Rev. Fr. Atilano G. Fajardo, CM, and Rev. Msgr. Hernando M. Coronel for their generous and dedicated service as former Minister of Public Affairs and Minister of Socio-Political Advocacy (PPCRV) respectively,” it added.
Malicdem is the current rector of Manila Cathedral in Intramuros while Secillano is the parish priest of the Nuestra SeƱora del Perpetuo Socorro Parish in the district of Sampaloc.
Adoviso, meanwhile, is the parish priest of Most Holy Trinity Parish which is also located in Sampaloc. (Ferdinand Patinio)
