Initial government reports
blamed an overheated cell phone charger which burst into flame as the cause of
the fire.
Podcaster Radyo Mindanao reported
live at the scene and videos of the chaotic drama as neighbors tried in vain to
fight the fire while women were seen crying as they fled from the inferno. The
dramatic footage was uploaded on Radyo Mindanao’s Facebook page and can be accessed on this link: https://fb.watch/arWLtSyEPV/
