Free online medical consultations

MAYOR BENG Climaco praised medical doctors who volunteered to be part of the “Ayudahan E-Konsulta” which offers free telephone consultation and other medical services to residents of Zamboanga City.

Climaco said at least 13 doctors have volunteered for the malevolent program which was originally conceptualized in April last year through the efforts of Dr. Anton Mari Lim and Fr. Karel San Juan, of Ateneo De Zamboanga University and inspired by the “Bayanihan E-Konsulta” program of Vice President Leni Robredo, who was in Zamboanga recently. 

She said the Ayudahan E-Konsulta is a collaboration between the City Government and the Office of the Vice President Leni Robredo. It also provides free RT-PCR testing, emergency ambulance service, mental health consultation and even free Covid-19 home care kits. 

The service is accessible through Facebook Messenger where information from patients shall be collected and assessed. Upon assessment of details, E-Konsulta personnel shall contact the patients, according to Climaco, who lauded and thanked Robredo for the Covid-19 home care kits she donated. 

The Ayudahan E-Konsulta is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and to avail of the services, one can simply type “Get started” and message it to https://www.facebook.com/AyudahanEKonsulta.
