THE NATIONAL Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Infectious Diseases has placed or extended the status of 48 areas under (Covid-19) Alert Level 1 until end of the month.
It said the
National Capital Region, including the following areas are considered low-risk
for Covid-19 and are all under Alert Level 1 status: Cordillera Administrative
Region: Abra, Apayao, Baguio City and Kalinga; Region I: Dagupan City, Ilocos
Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan; Region II: Batanes, Cagayan, City
of Santiago, Isabela and Quirino; Region III: Angeles City, Aurora, Bataan,
Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Olongapo City, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales; Region
IV-A: Batangas, Cavite, Laguna and Lucena City; Region IV-B: Marinduque, Puerto
Princesa City and Romblon; and Region V: Naga City and Catanduanes.
And for the
Visayas: Region VI: Aklan, Bacolod City, Capiz, Guimaras and Iloilo City;
Region VII: Cebu City and Siquijor; and Region VIII: Biliran, Ormoc City and
Tacloban City.
And also Zamboanga
City in Region IX; Cagayan de Oro City and Camiguin in Region X; Davao City in
Region XI; and Butuan City in the CARAGA region.
The areas not in the list are all under Alert Level 2 until March 31. (Mark Navales)
