PRESIDENT DUTERTE has appointed Benyasir Asdali as a member of the Zamboanga City Council replacing Crisanto dela Cruz who died from a heart attack in April last year.

Asdali, a member of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, took his oath at City Hall with Mayor Beng Climaco presiding over the formal ceremony witnessed by his family and Director Ginagene Uy, of the Department of the Interior and Local Government; and some politicians.
Climaco thanked the president for appointing Asdali, a native of Barangay Recodo. “We thank President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go for the appointment (of Asdali) as he replaces the late City Councilor Crisanto Dela Cruz whom we also remember and recognize for his valuable years in public service,” the mayor said.
