women in their fight for gender equality and ensure progress in empowering
women.
Also, she gave emphasis on this year’s theme “We Make Change, Work for Women” which focuses on the sub-theme “Agenda ng Kababaihan, tungo sa Kaunlaran” wherein she urged all men to give comfort, care and respect to all women and want them to be treated unconditionally.
“Hindi lamang po tuwing Marso o kapag may ganitong okasyon lang dapat pinapahalagahan ang bawat babae, kundi dapat araw-araw po natin silang iginagalang, minamahal at iniaangat ang estado sa lipunan,” she said at the same time challenged every woman to be a standout in everything they will do because they have the right to be heard and recognized
She said the PCSO is grateful for the continuous support given by the PNP, which in return PCSO had provided with different assistance for programs and medical services.
One of the notable highlights in the event is the pinning of “Medalya ng Kasanayan” given to all policewomen honorees which was led by Aseo. (Richard Ebona, Jerwin Nohay)
