Mayor lauds honest employee

ZAMBOANGA MAYOR Beng Climaco has lauded a street sweeper for his honesty during a flag raising ceremony in front of the City Hall.

Climaco praised Samson Narvasa, an employee of the Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources, for returning a wallet containing P12,ooo in cash, to its owner last month. The owner of the wallet was not identified. 

The mayor recognized Narvasa for his integrity and honesty and made him a role model not only for the local government employees, but for all residents. Climaco said Narvasa brought pride and honor to the local government. 

Climaco, assisted by Assistant City Administrator Raymond Padayhag and Gerry Pollisco, head of Environmental Management Division, also gave Narvasa a Certificate of Recognition in front of local government employees. 

“Sus buenas acciones merecen emulacion y eso trae orgullo y honor al Gobierno Local,” the mayor said during the awarding.  

Narvasa thanked the mayor and his superiors for the recognition. (Zamboanga Post)
