OVER 300 solar street lights were installed in seven villages in Zamboanga with Mayor Beng Climaco leading government officials in the unveiling of the project.
The streetlights were installed along the stretch of the highway covering the villages of Guiwan, Putik, Boalan, Divisoria and Culianan, and in Tugbungan. The mayor embarked on a series of activities and public engagements to wrap up her nine years of continued service until the end of this month.
Climaco also regularly conducts her humanitarian program called “Dia de Alcalde” in various villages in an effort to bring government services to the grassroots, especially in poor areas where residents are provided free health and social services, among others.
The mayor has thanked village officials and
department heads involved in the program for their continued support. Climaco
started the program, one of her many projects, to provide residents with
welfare services. (Zamboanga Post)
