FOUR PROPOSED bills were introduced on the first reading and one bill was deliberated on the second reading during the resumption of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority’s regular session.
Proposed legislative measures
include the institutionalization of the Medical Scholarship and Return Service
Program; the regulation of betel nut consumption; the declaration of Bud Tukay
Peak located in Parang, Sulu as a community-based ecotourism zone; and the
establishment of a Supplemental Academic Learning Amelioration Program for
struggling learners.
Meanwhile, the proposed bill to
establish the Bangsamoro Science High School has been referred to the Committee
on Basic, Higher, and Technical Education. (LTAIS-Public Information,
