BASILAN - Implemented through the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of Members of Parliament Muslimin Jakilan, Hatimil Hassan, and Abdulmuhmin Mujahid, the Ministry of Public Order and Safety provided P10,000 cash assistance to 100 former combatants and widows in Basilan province.
The financial aid, which aims to improve the socio-economic status of the beneficiaries, is one of the Bangsamoro government’s initiatives to extend its services, programs, and activities to vulnerable communities in the region.
Prior to the activity, the beneficiaries were screened, profiled, and had their requirements assessed by the Ministry. (LTAIS-Public Information, Publication, and Media Relations Division)
