COTABATO CITY - The Office of Member of Parliament Rasol Mitmug Jr., in partnership with the Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism, recently distributed 92 customized insulated bags with raincoats and tumblers to delivery riders in the cities of Cotabato and Marawi.
The distribution is under the MTIT’s
Support to Income Generation of Local Ambulant Entrepreneurs program,
which aims to help entrepreneurs sustain their livelihoods.
In his message during the
distribution, MP Mitmug reiterated the need of having quality equipment for the
delivery riders as more people depend on delivery services these days.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries of the activity
expressed their gratitude towards the MP Mitmug and MTIT. The activity is one
of MP Mitmug’s initiatives to aid the income of daily wage earners affected by
COVID-19 pandemic in the region.
The distribution is funded under the
Transitional Impact Development Fund (TDIF) of MP Mitmug. (LTAIS-Public
