SULU – Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) officials have met with Gov. Sakur Tan and discussed the various issues, especially on the status of the peace deal between the former rebel group and the Philippine government.
Tan was provided
with updates on the implementation
of the provisions of the Tripoli Peace Agreement, socio economic programs for
the MNLF members, among others.

The MNLF lauded Tan for his strong support to the 1996 peace agreement and praised him for his various peace and development programs and projects that benefitted not only former combatants and their families, but the people of Sulu.
