FUNDED THROUGH the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of the Office of the Member of the Parliament Atty. Raissa Jajurie, the construction of a two-storey multi-purpose center has been completed in Patikul, Sulu.
The facility, known as the "Bahay Pag-Asa Youth Center," is the region's first 24-hour child-care institution designed to provide residential care for children in conflict with the law or children alleged, accused, or adjudged to have committed an offense under the law and awaiting court disposition or transfer.
The
construction of the Bahay Pag-Asa Youth Center was implemented by the Ministry
of Public Works and will be managed and operated by the Ministry of Social
