THE COMMITTEE on Bangsamoro Justice System elected its vice-chairpersons and adopt internal rules and procedures.
MPs Atty. Randolph Parcasio, Abdulwahab Pak, and Ramon
Piang, Sr. were elected as vice chairs of the committee, the Shariah, and
tribal justice, respectively.
CBJS Chair Atty. Jose Lorena said that the committee
agreed to convene regularly on the second Thursday of every month.
Said committee has authority over all matters relating to
Muslim personal, family, and property relations as provided for in Presidential
Decree No. 1083, including concluding commercial, other civil actions, and
criminal jurisdiction over which the Parliament has legislative power under
