COTABATO CITY - Six members of the Parliament launched a free driver’s license program for underprivileged drivers in the region in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications.
Acknowledging
the need to assist economically disadvantaged drivers, Bangsamoro lawmakers
stressed the project's potential to alleviate financial constraints associated
with the application and renewal of driver’s licenses.
The project is funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund of MPs Jaafar Apollo Mikhail Matalam, Dr. Hashemi Dilangalen, Amilbahar Mawallil, Rasul Ismael, Atty. Rasol Mitmug Jr., and Khalid Hadji Abdullah.
MOTC
Minister Atty. Paisalin P. Tago emphasized the importance of enhancing
accessibility to essential services while ensuring the efficient regulation of
transportation activities.
The
program will be rolled out across the Bangsamoro region to ensure that its
services are readily available and accessible to those in need. (LTAIS- Public
