“We thanked all stakeholders of Sulu for the cooperation and assistance in cementing the peace and prosperity in the province of sulu and we call all MNLF leaders to rally behind the call to One MNLF for this will pave the way towards a progressive sulu and the entire Mindanao,” Tan said during the historic event attended by thousands of people and MNLF members from as far as Basilan and Tawi-Tawi provinces, and security officials.

The event took place at Camp Yusoph Jikiri in the town of Indanan and was organized by EC15MNLF Vice Chairman for Military Affairs and concurrently the BARMM Deputy Chief Minister for Southwestern Mindanao, Albakir Jikiri.

“This marks a pivotal moment in the quest for unity, forgiveness, brotherhood, understanding and progress in the region. The event bore witness to a resounding call for solidarity and collaboration towards a singular vision – One MNLF.”

“The assembly, a beacon of hope and determination, emphatically denounced factionalism within the organization, recognizing it as a barrier to the collective advancement of the MNLF. Leaders from diverse backgrounds and affiliations came together, setting aside differences in pursuit of a common goal: to bury division and embrace a future of peace, unity, reconciliation, and prosperity for all,” Jikiri said, adding, the wrath of factionalism must be eradicated and buried in the dustbin of history.

For the part of Ustadz Utoh Karz Misuari, he reminded the participants with the statement "unity is a Divine mandate from the Holy Quran and the importance of unity as a blessing for the ummah." (Mindanao Examiner)
