ZAMBOANGA MAYOR Beng Climaco praised the Philippine Army’s 54th Engineer Brigade for its commitment and support, and assistance to the local government in terms of infrastructure development amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Climaco, who graced the 29th founding anniversary celebration of the 54th Engineer Brigade, lauded the officers and men for their dedication to serve.
"Congratulations and thank you for your support and assistance to the City Government in terms of infrastructure development. Vaya con Dios," she told the 54th Engineer Brigade headed by Brig. Gen. Anthony Cacayuran.
The 54th Engineer Brigade, through its Disaster Response Team, completed in June the installation of additional holding area for Covid-19 patients at the Zamboanga City Medical Center.
The parking space of the hospital now serves as holding area for Covid-19 admission and consultation of patients. (Zamboanga Post)
