NORTH COTABATO – What was supposed to
be a happy drinking session among three friends turned violent and deadly after
an altercation led to a stabbing spree in Mlang town in North Cotabato province,
police said Thursday.
Police said Rollin Cordero, 39, was
killed on the spot after James Reguis, 33, attacked him. Reguis also stabbed and
wounded the 25-year old Radangel Salvador after he tried to pacify the suspect.
Reguis has surrendered to the police,
but he did not give any statement to the press. (Rhoderick Beñez)
