THE WESTERN Mindanao State University thanked Mayor Beng Climaco for a new multi-purpose building funded by the local government of Zamboanga.
Climaco led the turnover of the P27.2 million building to WMSU President Dr. Milabel Ho and faculty members and students. The 3-storey building will house a training center on the ground floor and dormitory for students on the second and third floors.
The project was started by the previous Lobregat administration in February 2013, but abandoned by its original contractor in 2015 for a still unknown reason and it was eventually continued by the ASAP General Trading Construction and Maintenance and supervised by the City Engineer’s Office.
With the Climaco administration’s priority thrust on education, the building project was accomplished. (Zamboanga Post)
