PLM Admission Test results released

THE PAMANTASAN ng Lungsod ng Maynila, or PLM, has released the partial results of its admission test, or PLMAT for Academic Year 2020-2021.

The PLMAT is a four-hour examination consisting of sub-tests in English, Science, Mathematics, Filipino and Abstract Reasoning. It is conducted annually to screen applicants who would like to enroll in undergraduate programs at PLM. Passing the PLMAT is a requirement for admission to PLM.
This year, PLM said it introduced four innovations in the application process and conduct of exams to make it more convenient for applicants than before. These are the (1) online application and submission of documents, which enabled applicants to continue submission even during the Enhanced Community Quarantine period; (2)  the online interactive PLMAT reviewer; (3) conduct of same-day or walk-in exams, and (4) conduct of PLMAT at four testing centers (public high schools in Manila) that brought the test closer to the applicants.
The entrance test was conducted in several batches from November 2019 to March 2020, with applicants coming from as far as Visayas and Mindanao. The last two PLMAT batches scheduled for March 15 and 22 were cancelled due to the implementation of the Luzon-wide Enhanced Community Quarantine, which is part of the government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new schedule will be announced soon after the resumption of work at the university.
The release of PLMAT results was initially set on April 15, but it was rescheduled a week later due to suspension of work and transactions at the university brought about by the ongoing community quarantine.
As a public university, PLM offers tuition-free education to undergraduate students, pursuant to the Republic Act 10931 or “Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act”. It is known for producing board topnotchers, competent and socially responsible graduates, and consistently high passing rates in board exams.
The list of PLMAT passers is now available at plm.edu.ph
