TWO ALLEGED illegal drug pushers who yielded PHP28,000 worth of suspected shabu were arrested on Tuesday night in a buy-bust in Tabaco City, Albay, a police report said.
Elisio Daygo, 54, and his son Carlo, 18, of Barangay Sto. Cristo, were caught selling a medium sachet of shabu to an undercover agent in the said village at around 7:30 p.m., said Staff Sgt. Jose Glen Boquiren, police investigator in charge.
Police operatives seized during the buy-bust seven sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of PHP28,000.
The suspects are now in the custody of the city police station awaiting the filing of charges for illegal possession and trading of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (By Mar Serrano)
