Army recognizes Zambo mayor

THE PHILIPPINE Army thanked Mayor Beng Climaco for her unrelenting support that helped achieve its goals and mission in Zamboanga City.

Lt. Col. James Sababan, commander of the 74th Infantry Battalion, personally thanked the mayor during the recent blessing of their camp in Barangay Bolong. Climaco was invited as guest of honor and speaker in the event attended by security officials.

The mayor also thanked the Sababan and his soldiers for their commitment in securing Zamboanga and its people. She assured soldiers of her continuous support and assistance to the military as part of her priorities on security, health and education or S.H.E. (Zamboanga Post)
