CEBU CITY – Mayor Edgardo Labella urged Cebuanos to religiously follow the minimum health protocols set by authorities to sustain the downtrend in the number of Covid-19 cases here.
“I am very thankful to the people for cooperating
with their city government in the call to observe the health standards to
prevent further surge of Covid-19. I am very thankful that they are compliant,”
Labella said.
He said if the people continue to wear face mask,
face shield, wash their hands and observe social distancing even with the
city's mass vaccination rollout,
“magka-ubos pa gyud ang atong kaso.”
The Department of Health (DOH) said the total
number of Covid-19 recoveries is over 22,000 with a few hundred active cases
