STARTING TODAY, I am doing a series on "Politica 2022". Este informaciĆ³n sirbi grande ayuda canaton todo y con aquellos ta aspira o quiere entra na politica aqui na ciudad de Zamboanga o na otro lugar,  cay amo este ahora el cuento-cuento del masa.

I will be sharing information in several parts.


The 2022 general elections will take place on May 9. These elections are for the National, Local, Provincial, City, Municipal except for the Barangay Officials.


At the top of the ballot will be for the election for the successors to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo. There will also be elections for: 12 seats for the Senate, 308 Seats for the House of Representatives (247 seats for congressional districts and 61 seats for Party-list); 81 Governors and 81 Vice Governors; 780 Seats for Provincial Board Members; 1,634 City and Municipal Mayors and Vice Mayors, and 13,546 seats for all City and Municipal Councils.


This day is also the expected date of the first Bangsamoro Parliament election, as the Bangsamoro Transition Authority’s term ends on June 30, 2022. And this will also be the first election in Davao de Oro under the name, as it was renamed from Compostela Valley in December 2019 after a successful Plebiscite.


El filing del Certificate of Candidacy para con el maga candidato is set on October 1 to 8, 2021. The COMELEC has set the one-week filing of Certificate of Candidacy para na todo elective positions for the National and Local Elections.

On the Campaign Period: Under COMELEC Resolution 10695, the campaign period for candidate in national positions (President, Vice President, Senators and Party-List groups) is set from February 8, 2022 to May 7, 2022. El maga Local Candidates (members for the House of Representatives and Provincial, City and Municipal officials) campaigning begins on March 25, 2022, will also end on May 7, 2022.

No puede man campaign na Maundy Thursday and Good Friday (April 14 and 15, 2022).

  • Election Period begins on January 9, 2022 and ends on June 8, 2022.

  • Gun ban shall be in effect during the entirety of the election period or from January 9, 2022 to June 8, 2022. No puede carga o lleba armas and deadly weapons, unless authorized in writing by the COMELEC.

  • Other prohibited acts during the entirety of the Election Period or January 9, 2022 until June 8, 2022. Also prohibited are the use of security or bodyguards by candidates unless authorize in writing by the COMELEC; Organization or maintenance of reaction forces, strike forces, or similar forces; Alteration of the territory of a precinct or establishment of new precinct; Transfer or movement of officers and employees in the Civil Service; and Suspension of elective local officials.

  • A liquor ban will be in effect from May 8-9, 2022 where selling, furnishing, offering, buying, serving, or taking intoxicating liquor is prohibited.

  • Campaigning is prohibited on the eve of Election Day and Election Day itself. Also banned are the acts of giving or accepting free transportation, food or drinks, or things of value; and soliciting votes or undertaking any propaganda for or against a candidate or any political party in the polling place or within 30 meters of the area.

  • Also not allowed are the opening of booths or stalls for the sale of merchandise or refreshments within 30 meter radius from the polling place; and the holding of fairs, cockfights, boxing, horse racing or similar sports.
