The mayor assured Lorenzo of her continuous support to the police sector for the safety and protection of the residents.
Climaco also thanked Reyes for his dedication and commitment in serving as the city police chief from September 5, 2020 to January 8, 2022. “Through his efforts, in collaboration with the JTFZ and other law enforcement agencies, Zamboanga City retained its zero bombing, zero kidnapping and zero piracy record in the last 7 years. Thank you Col. Rexmel for leading the way of the ZCPO and wherever your assignment may be, may God bless you and your family,” the mayor said during Reyes’ exit call.
JTFZ refers to Joint Task Force Zamboanga and ZCPO is short for Zamboanga City Police Office.
As a token of appreciation, Climaco presented Reyes a plaque of commendation, citing his invaluable contributions to the peace and order. (Zamboanga Post)
