IT WAS a hectic schedule for Mayor Beng Climaco in recent weeks as Vice President Leni Robredo and the group of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno visited Zamboanga City and met separately with the local chief executive.

Both Robredo and Moreno are running for president in the May polls. Climaco led local officials headed by Vice Mayor Meng Agan in welcoming Robredo at the Edwin Andrews Airbase. Robredo’s arrival was part of her regional visit.
Robredo also inaugurated a volunteer center here and also handed over some 500 Covid-19 Home Care Kits to the local government. Climaco thanked Robredo for the donations.
The
group or Moreno led by his wife Diana
Lynn and son Joaquin, also paid a courtesy call on the mayor at City Hall.
Climaco also handed a miniature vinta as a souvenir to Moreno’s wife.
Both
the groups of Robredo and Moreno thanked Climaco for the warm reception and
hospitality even as the mayor was busy at her work and while Zamboanga is under
Alert 3 due to the spike in active Copvid-19 cases. (Zamboanga Post)
