MAYOR BENG Climaco reminded the public anew to strictly follow health protocols even though the number of Covid-19 cases remain low in Zamboanga.
“We should not be complacent and always follow the public health protocols – the wearing of facemasks in crowded areas and wash hands frequently or sanitize hands and avoid holding your face with dirty hands,” she said.
The mayor also urged residents who have not been vaccinated against the deadly respiratory disease to get inoculated. “We have enough vaccines for everybody and please go and vaccinate, go to the health centers, the malls where vaccinations are going on. Protect yourself and your family against Covid-19,” she said.
The City Health Office also reported that residents are now over 90% fully vaccinated, adding it has administered more than 1.3 million doses of vaccines. (Zamboanga Post)
