COTABATO CITY - As part of the government’s commitment to sustain the gains of the peace process in the region, the Office of MP Abdullah Macapaar, in partnership with the Ministry of Public Order and Safety, conducted a two-day simultaneous peace-building training for 100 former combatants from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front of Camp Bilal.
The activity intends to improve
access to the Bangsamoro government's social services and programs for the most
marginalized communities in the region. Prior
to the activity, participants were screened through the community scanning,
beneficiary profiling, and needs-based assessment processes.
The initiative was implemented and
funded under the Transitional Development Impact Fund of MP Macapaar.
