ZAMBOANGA CITY - A woman fell to her death from the third floor of a shopping mall here, sending shoppers into a frenzy.
Shoppers witnessed the terrifying incident on Friday afternoon after the woman fell flat on her back at the ground floor housing the supermarket, sending people screaming for help as security guards tried to control the crowd.
There was no immediate help or medics at the scene to help the unidentified woman.

The woman, wearing a pair of jeans and sneakers, died from head injuries. Witnesses said the woman threw herself from the third floor. She had no identification cards and nobody came to help her.
Grace Marimon, who witnessed the incident, said they were on the second floor when the woman jumped to her death. "While nasa KCC Mall kami kanina around 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. bigla na lang may tumalon from the 3rd floor at nasa 2nd floor kami. Nag cause talaga nang shocked sa mga tao doon. Grabe yung nginig ko. Sabi nila nagkaroon daw nang depression," she said.
Another witness, Louie Lanaja, said: "I witnessed this a while ago. Sino ba naman ang di mabibigla, may nahulog na tao from 3rd floor KCC." (Mindanao Examiner)
