COTABATO CITY – The Bangsamoro Parliament’s Committee on Social Services and Development (CSSD) has approved a resolution requesting the Government of the Day to fast-track the implementation of an early recovery program for all affected BARMM communities from the devastation left behind by Tropical Storm Paeng (Nalgae) in October last year, and direct all ministries and line agencies to extend the implementation of emergency relief assistance.
CSSD Chair Engr. Aida Silongan said a joint meeting with the Committee on Finance, Budget, and Management has been set to discuss the assistance needed by the affected families and create a committee report that will be presented in the plenary.
She said the proposed measures that would protect
the rights of internally displaced persons in BARMM will also be the subject of
