COTABATO CITY – Bangsamoro lawmakers recently conducted a media forum here on the accomplishments of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), including important legislations, among them the Electoral Code.
Journalists from various outfits attended the forum
organized by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, in collaboration with
the Public Information, Publication, and Media Relations Division.
Floor Leader Atty. Sha Elijah Dumama-Alba, who was among the resource speakers, outlined the legislative agenda of the BTA and the salient features of the Bangsamoro Electoral Code, while Deputy Floor Leader Atty. Raissa Jajurie also discussed the Bangsamoro Organic Law.
The resource speakers also discussed the role of
the BARMM media in the Parliament.
Since the media has become an integral part of delivering accurate and timely information to the public, organizers said the forum provided the media with accurate information and how legislators work hard to pass laws that will benefit the Bangsamoro people and the BARMM.
