PCOO, na-hacked!

MAYNILA – Isang tanggapan sa ilalim ng Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) ang na-hacked matapos na ito ay ma-detect ng AVG anti-virus system at ng Google na naglabas ng warning o babala.

Ang Presidential Communications Operations Office o PCOO ay nasa control ng OPS.

Wala pang pahayag ang OPS ukol sa hacking sa PCOO na ngayon ay Presidential Communication Office na. Ang PCOO ay dating naka-redirect sa website ng Presidential Communications Office, ngunit sa ngayon ay wala nang access sa PCOO.

Ito ang warning na makikita sa website ng PCOO: “Your connection is not private. Attackers might be trying to steal your information from pcoo.gov.ph (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID.”

Ayon sa PCOO, ito ang mandato ng ahensya: “The Presidential Communications Operations Office formulates and implements an integrated program of information and developmental communication that will present the work of the Presidency; develop public understanding of activities and policies; and enhance public trust and support at the national, regional, and barangay levels.” (Mindanao Examiner)
