ZAMBOANGA CITY – The regional newspaper Mindanao Examiner has slammed courier company LBC Express for losing its parcel intended for a priest in Cebu City.
The parcel was sent January 29 through its branch in Veterans Avenue in Zamboanga City and subsequent follow ups were made by the newspaper company to LBC Express to ensure the package was delivered to the recipient.
But according to LBC Express, the recipient’s address was not found and it only informed the newspaper firm about it several weeks later after a series of inquiries by The Mindanao Examiner Regional Newspaper.
The LBC Express branch in Veteran’s Avenue has failed to notify the newspaper company about its failure to deliver the package. It also failed to return the parcel despite repeated requests by a representative of the newspaper company.
The parcel was eventually lost with LBC Express branch in Cebu City saying it has disposed of the package without notice or permission from The Mindanao Examiner Regional Newspaper.
The newspaper firm warned the public about this incident and to always check whether their parcel or package had been delivered to its recipient so as not to fall victim to the inefficient services of LBC Express. (Mindanao Examiner)
