PAGADIAN CITY - President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has signed administrative orders, granting service recognition incentive and gratuity pay to contract of service and job order workers in government for fiscal year 2023.
A five-page Administrative Order (AO) No. 12, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P.
Bersamin stated that Marcos authorizes the grant of one-time Service
Recognition Incentive (SRI) of P20,000 for government employees in the
executive branch.
Qualified for the
PhP20,000 SRI are civilian personnel in national government agencies including
those in state universities and colleges and government-owned or controlled
corporations, occupying regular, contractual or casual positions.
The incentive will
also be given to military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines
(AFP), uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire
Protection, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
Uniformed personnel
of the Bureau of Corrections, the Philippine Coast Guard, the National Mapping
and Resource Information Authority of the Department of Environment and Natural
Resources are also qualified for the P20,000 SRI.
Section 2 of the AO
stated that the P20,000 SRI is granted to civilian personnel occupying regular,
contractual or casual positions; personnel who are still in government service
as of November 30, 2023; and personnel who rendered at least four months of
satisfactory service.

list of other qualified personnel to receive the one-time incentive can be

Under Administrative Order No. 13, on the other hand, President Marcos
approved the grant of a one-time gratuity pay of not more than P5,000 each for
COS and JO government employees who have rendered at least four months of
actual satisfactory performance of service, as stipulated in their respective
contracts as of December 15, and whose contracts are still effective as of the
same date.
The AO 13 further stated
that COS and JOs of the national government agencies, state universities and
colleges and government-owned or -controlled corporations and local water
districts are qualified to receive the P5,000 gratuity pay.

of P20,000 SRI and P5,000 gratuity pay to all qualified employees shall be
