COTABATO CITY – The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) turned over five speed boats to the Bangsamoro Ports Management Authority (BPMA) in an effort to improve emergency response capabilities in the Bangsamoro region.
The project was funded by the Transitional Development Impact Fund of the Office of Deputy Speaker Atty. Nabil Tan in collaboration with the MOTC, led by Minister and Deputy Speaker Atty. Paisalin Tago.
These vessels are set to serve selected rural health units in the region, catering to transportation needs during emergencies, with a particular focus on the region's island provinces.
The BPMA hailed Tan and MOTC for the acquisition of the speed
