ZAMBOANGA CITY – Popular doughnut chain Mister Donut has opened new business opportunities for everyone to put up their own store here and be a franchisee for as low as P90,000.
During a roadshow presentation at Hotel Marcelina on Thursday, Ratna Dewi Viado, Mister Donut franchise officer, said with over 6,000 franchised stores and more than 20 company-owned stores, including 3,000 key accounts and institutional partners such as 7/11 in the country, the doughnut chain continues to attract more potential franchisees – from OFWs, young entrepreneurs and even micro, small and medium enterprises.

She said that Mister Donut is one of the largest doughnut chains in the world and a respected leader in the license industry with over 5,500 shops especially in Asia. In the Philippines, she said Mister Donut has 20 mega plants strategically located in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao - Cagayan De Oro, Davao, Oroquieta, and Zamboanga cities.
“We are a strong and established brand with 40 years of franchising experience in the Philippines. Mister Donut started in Boston, Massachusetts in 1955 and operates in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand. It was brought to the Philippines by Duskin Co.
